Upgrade doors and door hardware across multiple WPS sites (13 buildings), incorporating various safety features and standardizing products throughout the district. A certified check or bid bond made payable to the City Treasurer, City of Worcester in the Amount of 5% of total bid MUST ACCOMPANY this bid. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond of a Surety Company authorized to do business in Massachusetts, for not less than 100% of the amount of the contract awarded satisfactory to the awarding authority of the City of Worcester, The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will also be required to furnish and pay for a labor and materials or payment bond, of a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth, for not less than 100% of the amount of the contract awarded, satisfactory to the awarding authority. A copy of the contractors DCAM Certificate of Eligibility Forms Q7 and Update Form CQ3 must accompany this bid. Only contractors holding a Certificate of Eligibility from DCAM in the category (ies) called for, and in a single project amount higher than the estimated project cost will be able to file a bid.
