HLC Roof Replacement CR Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Sub Bid Category Waterproofing / Dampproofing / Caulking The Project consists of but not limited to: Replace existing roof system, edge metal, lighting protection system and replace sealant joints on metal wall panels. The work to be done under this contract consists of executing and completing all work required for the Harrington Learning Center (HLC) Roof Replacement project at Quinsigamond Community College, 670 West Boylston St., Worcester, MA 01606. The work is estimated to cost $2,165,000.00. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Removing an existing PVC roofing system to the roof deck, and replacing it with a new, complete, roofing system. 2. Raking and recaulking vertical and horizontal joints in a metal wall panel system. 3. HVAC work involving the removal/reinstallation of existing rooftop HVAC equipment to accommodate flashing of the new roofing system. 4. Removal, repair and reinstallation of the lightning protection system. C. The Work is to be performed at the following locations: 1. Harrington Learning Center. D. The Prime Contractor for this project shall be qualified in Roofing. E. The following major elements will be performed by the Owner, under separate contracts, for which the Prime Contractor has a coordinating responsibility: 1. None. The Contractor is solely responsible for all work required under this project. F. The following major elements will be furnished by the Owner, for installation by the Contractor or subcontractors: 1. None. Items being furnished by the Owner will be installed by the Owner's contractor. G. Reference to Drawings: The work to be done under this Contract is shown on the Drawings listed at the end of this Section. H. Prevailing Wage: The Massachusetts Standard Labor Wage rates, as outlined in the exhibits, will be used in the construction of this project Question Deadline 02/28/2025 Any technical questions subsequent to the submission of the bid shall be directed to: Steve VanDyke, Nault Architects, Inc., 71 Hope Ave, Worcester, MA 01603, by email, to admin@naultarchitects.com.
