Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work for this project consists primarily of construction of a new timber frame bathroom and concessions building in Carroll Park on Isle La Plume in La Crosse and associated utilities. The work for this project will consist primarily of, but not be limited to, the following: excavation; a subsoil ventilation system; concrete slabs and footings; assembly of a manufactured concession and bathroom building kit; water supply, drain and vent piping; installation of city-suppled concession appliances, machines and stainless steel tables; drinking fountains and sinks; electrical systems; interior and exterior light fixtures; flag poles; overhead doors; and picnic tables. This project is occurring in an abandoned landfill site and landfill materials, possibly including hazardous materials, will likely be encountered while conducting work on this project. Any encountered landfilled materials that need to be hauled off-site shall be hauled and disposed of according to all applicable state and federal regulations. Any encountered landfilled materials that can remain on-site, as well as any undisturbed landfilled materials, are to be covered with a layer of clean fill and a layer of topsoil during final grading operations.
