Renovation of a mixed-use development in Durham, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
The work includes installation of new generators at three water facility pump stations, Police Department, and Public Works (5 total). Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed as follows: 365 calendar days for Shop Drawings and Fabrication 700 calendar days for Substantial Completion 730 calendar days for Completion of All Work Liquidated damages shall be in the amount of $500 for each calendar day beyond the date established for Substantial Completion and $1,000 for each calendar day beyond the date established for Contract Completion. Bid security is to accompany bid proposals and shall be 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to take any action that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Inquiries as to availability of Contract Documents and technical questions regarding the plans and specifications shall be directed to Underwood Engineers, Inc. Question Deadline 03/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing
