USNH, representing the University of New Hampshire, is seeking construction management services to provide construction services for PCAC Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Renovations. Project Site: Paul Creative Arts Center 30 Academic Way Durham, New Hampshire Question Deadline 02/14/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Response to questions by 02/21/2025 Award announcement Week of 03/17/2025 Pre-construction services will begin as soon as possible after contract execution. The construction phase of the project is scheduled to begin as follows: CM Pre-Construction Services Begin As soon as possible after contract execution. Construction Begins After UNH Commencement: 05/18/2025 Construction Complete Phase 1 - Johnson Theater and all spaces west of the theater's back wall: January 2026, including: o Fire Alarm o Fire Suppression o Catwalk improvements o Theater lighting Fire Alarm is to be performed continuously until completed. Phase 2 - Fire Suppression Art Wing: o Start: June 2026 o Completion: Before September 2026 Phase 3 - Fire Suppression Music Wing: o Start: June 2027 o Completion: Before September 2027 The order of Art vs. Music wing to be determined. The work includes providing new fire alarm and fire suppression systems throughout the Paul Creative Arts Center building. Additionally, work in the Johnson theater includes catwalk safety upgrades and theater lighting control improvements. The first phase of work will start by June 2025 and must be completed by January 2026. The fire alarm work will continue throughout the entire building without interruption, until complete. Subsequent phases, two and three, includes fire suppression work in the Art and Music wings. Each of these phases will begin in June of 2026 and 2027, respectively, and each phase must be completed before the resumption of the fall semester, with final completion of the entire fire suppression system by September 2027. The catwalk improvements and lighting control upgrades work will be undertaken as Delegated-Design effort. Payment and Performance Bonds: (required on all projects of $100,000 or greater) o Awarded firm will be expected to provide payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract sum, as security for the faithful performance of its contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The bonds shall be drawn and have as surety a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The bonds shall be worded exactly like the bonds referenced in these documents. o USNH bond documents 00610 and 00620 are available on the web in the Buyer Attachments section of the Event.
