Renovation of a hospitality development in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a hospitality development.
The scope of work includes but it's not limited to: Provide all tools, labour, and accessories required for the structural repair as described below and in the Drawings. Drill holes for anchor bolts in existing suspended concrete slab underside in locations according to the Drawings and to achieve a minimum embedment depth of 3 3/4". Using the drilled holes, fasten the posts' cap plates to the existing suspended concrete slab underside with 5/8" Diam. Hilti HIT-HY 200 anchor bolts. Do not tighten the anchor nuts. Drill holes for the anchor bolts in the S.O.G. through the holes in the posts' base plate to a minimum embedment depth of 3 3/4". Grout below the base plate does not contribute to the embedment depth. Ensure the posts are plumb. Using the drilled holes, fasten the base plates to the S.O.G. with 5/8" Diam. Hilti HIT-HY 200 anchor bolts. Place grout under the base plates. Grout shall have a minimum compressive strength of 25MPa at 28 days. Adjust the posts' vertical position and tighten the nuts. Paint metal components with zinc-rich paint.
