West County Wastewater ("WCW") is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide services in the replacement of a 10" ACP sewer with 10" HDPE, replace both upstream and downstream manhole casting and cover, and seal and refinish the manholes barrel, cones and bench. The preferred method of replacement is pipe bursting. The project is located adjacent to the Hilltop Green Community Center at 1095 Parkside Dr. Richmond, CA 94806. The sewer line (180805-180804) is approximately 37ft. in length and 8 feet deep. (See Attachments K and L for location). AAdditional requirements: o An encroachment permit through the City of Richmond (City) is required. o Abide by any moratoriums required by the City. o Coordination with the Hilltop Green Homeowners Association is required o Include all landscape, concrete or asphalt concrete restoration o A sewer permit from WCW will be provided. o Work is only to be conducted Mondays through Fridays between 08:00AM to 05:00PM o Affected residents will need to be notified, including contact numbers provided by WCW. o Contractors must be able to start construction within 14 calendar days of award of contract. o All contractors must have a Contractors State License Board License and be registered with the California Departmentof Industrial Relations (DIR). o The contractor will contact WCW Inspector 24hrs. before starting, and 24hrs. before backfilling for inspection. o All other contract requirements are outlined in Attachment B, sample Public Works Construction Agreement.
