The Project is located in various neigh borhoods in the City of Richmond, within the limits of the Pavement Management 2025 & 2026 Projects and other locations as needed. The City of Richmond is looking to select one or more contractor(s) for the AS-NEEDED CURB RAMP CONSTRUCTION, ADA SIDEWALK, AND MISCELLANEOUS CONCRETE REPAIR and execute a construction agreement with one or multiple contractors, and expiration December 31, 2026, with the option to extend the contract for one year. In general, the selected contractor(s) will receive multiple work order packages issued by the City and the City’s design team. The City estimates to issue the first work order by May 19, 2025 and construction anticipated to start June 1, 2025. The Project construction is described as follows including incidentals as described in these special provisions: demolition and reconstruction of curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and City requirements (See the Bid Schedule p.17). The work also includes concrete repairs of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, valley gutters, median curbs, driveways and similar miscellaneous concrete items.
