Trades needed but not limited to: Arborist, Bearings, CIDH, Clearing & Grubbing, Concrete Barrier, Concrete Pumping, Construction Area Signs, Demolition, Dewatering, Drainage, Erosion Control, Fencing, Grading, Guard Railing, Hydroseed, Imported Borrow, Joint Seal, Metal Railing, Minor Concrete, Misc. Metals, Object Marker, Paint & Stain Concrete, Pavement Marker, Paving - HMA, Piping(D.I.P)., Plane Asphalt Concrete, Precast Concrete, Ready Mix, Rebar, Roadside Signs, Roadway Excavation, Rock Slope Protection, Signal & Lighting, Striping & Marking, Structural Concrete Quality Control, Structural Excavation, Structural Backfill, Survey, SWPPP, Traffic Control, Trucking, Underground Utilities(Waterline) etc. Other Details The contractor, subrecipient or subcontractor shall take necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that DBEs have opportunity to participate in the contract (49 CFR 26). To ensure equal participation of DBEs provided in 49 CFR 26.5, the Agency shows a contract goal for DBEs. The prime contractor shall make work available to DBEs and select work parts consistent with available DBE subcontractors and suppliers. The prime contractor shall meet the DBE goal shown elsewhere in these special provisions or demonstrate that they made adequate Good Faith Efforts (GFE) to meet this goal. An adequate GFE means that the bidder must show that it took all necessary and reasonable steps to achieve a DBE goal that, by their scope, intensity, and appropriateness to the objective, could reasonably be expected to meet the DBE goal.
