Renovation of an educational facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,500-square-foot educational facility.
Charlotte Mecklenburg Board of Education is soliciting for qualified and licensed roofing contractors to Bid for Roof Replacement at David Cox Elementary David Cox- Roof Replacement of approximately 10,500 square feet of Single Ply Roofing a. Remove and dispose oftheloose aggregate surfacing, flashings, and sheet metal. Prepare roof membrane to receive recovery system. b. Replace Wet or Deteriorated Roof Insulation and Cover Board with Roof Insulation mechanically attached and Cover Board in foam adhesive to math height of existing roof system and in accordance with Unit Prices and Quantity Allowances. c. Provide 1.5" Roof Insulation mechanically attached. d. Provide Tapered Insulation crickets and saddles adhered in foam adhesive. e. Provide Cover Board adhered in foam adhesive. f. Fully adhere felt-back thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and accessories. g. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. h. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. All questions should be directed to Yolanda Fergerson via the email address indicated above.
