INTRODUCTION Rogers City School District is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors to apply new rubberized surfacing and paint on asphalt that was poured in 2024. The work must be completed no later than August 4, 2025. II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project involves the application of rubberized surfacing and appropriate paint markings on existing asphalt surfaces at designated school district locations. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Cleaning, removing loose materials from, and preparing the asphalt surface for application. o Applying a durable rubberized surface suitable for school running track use, such as SEAL-FLEX, 6-coat, 1/2 -inch stranded rubber and latex surface system. Color to be black. o Painting all necessary markings according to district specifications and MHSAA requirements. Lane lines and event markings must be mocked up for the district's prior review and approval. o Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and accessibility regulations. o Providing a warranty on materials and workmanship. III. VI. PREVAILING WAGE This project is being funded exclusively by a non-state source. Accordingly, prevailing wage is not required for this project. VII.
