Site work for a water / sewer project in New Canaan, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For a proposed project on Route 124 (South Avenue) from Farm Road to Cherry Street whereby the Town seeks to have all existing utility lines buried underground. Services provided will be initial consultation on the feasibility of the project, followed by scope development, project development, cost estimating, bidding and construction administration services. Responders' attention is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and to the requirements for commencement and completion of the work. No responder may withdraw their qualifications within 90 days after the actual date of the document opening. Additionally, documents require the prompt commencement of the work. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all responses or any part thereof, to waive defects in the same, or to accept any proposal or any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of New Canaan, Connecticut. All responders are requested to note that the award of this Contract is subject to the following conditions and contingencies: 1) The approval of such governmental agencies as may be required by law. 2) The appropriation of adequate funds by the proper agencies. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
