NATURE OF CONTRACT WORK Provide the Town of Granby with building cleaning services for Town Hall, Community Center, and Train Depot. Supplies and equipment shall be provided by the contractor with the exception of trash bags, light bulbs, entry mats, hand towels, toilet paper, and liquid hand soap. Contractor must provide proof of Worker's Compensation insurance, unless sole proprietor, and Certificate of Liability Insurance. Contractor shall provide references and before the contract is executed, provide drivers license and social security numbers for all staff working on this contract. A full background investigation for any employee providing these services for the Town is required. SCOPE OF SERVICES, ESSENTIAL DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONTRACT Perform the following cleaning services for Town Hall, to include administration offices, the police department, and the recreation department twice per week {Monday and Wednesday before or after normal business hours) unless otherwise specified Empty trash from all offices and restrooms and throw away in dumpster. Vacuum all carpeted areas Including stairs, elevator, and front entry way. exception is the Board Room which is vacuumed monthly Clean windows and doors in the entry way to include the window at the PD entryway. Clean all restrooms which includes clean and disinfect toilets and urinals Inside and outside, clean and disinfect sinks, o clean mirrors, o clean and disinfect stall walls, o stock paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap (paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap provided by the Town). Sweep, wet mop, and disinfect all hard surface floors including restrooms and kitchen. Clean showers and locker room spaces in Police Department. Clean and sanitize water fountains. Check for any lights that are out and verify exit lights are functioning properly. Dust and disinfect all hard surfaces at least once per week including office desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, banisters, telephones, and computers. This includes the Front Reception desk, Board Room, Police Department Conference Room, kitchen surfaces, light switches, and windowsills. Wet mop workout room and wipe down workout equipment in basement at least once per month. Vacuum all upholstered furniture monthly. Wipe down blinds and windowsills once every 3 months. Oil wood surfaces at least once every 3 months. Clean window glass on office doors when needed. Spot clean carpets as needed. Additional work to be invoiced separately Wash inside of windows twice per year. Shampoo all carpets twice per year including stairs and elevator. Perform the following cleaning services at the Granby Train Station Depot twice per week (Monday and Wednesday) Sweep, wet mop, and disinfect all hard surface floors including restrooms. Clean all restrooms clean and disinfect toilets and urinals Inside and outside, clean and disinfect sinks, clean mirrors, clean and disinfect stall walls, stock paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap (paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap provided by the Town). Empty trash and throw away in dumpster at Town Hall. Clean and sanitize water fountain. Dust and disinfect all hard surfaces at least once per week. Clean doors, light switches, and windows as needed. Check for any lights that are out and verify exit lights are functioning properly. Perform the following service at the Granby Community Center twice per week (Monday and Thursday before or after scheduled programs) Empty trash and throw away in dumpster behind building. Ensure there are always extra trash bags, clean dust mops, wet mops, and cleaning supplies available for rental group usage. Vacuum all entry way rugs. Clean all restrooms clean and disinfect toilets and urinals inside and outside, clean and disinfect sinks, clean mirrors, clean and disinfect light switches, stall walls, stock paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap (paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap provided by the Town). Sweep, wet mop, and disinfect all floors including restrooms. Check for any lights that are out and verify exit lights are functioning properly. Dust and disinfect all hard surfaces at least once per week. Clean mirrors in large room and front door windows at least once per week, more when needed. Wipe kitchen cabinets with appropriate cleaner as needed. Spot clean entryway rugs when needed. Additional work to be invoiced separately Wash inside of windows twice per year. Shampoo all carpets twice per year. Town Manager or his/her designee shall be the Town contact for the Janitorial Cleaning services. C ontractor must meet specifications and requirements on cleaning and maintenance services for Town Hall, Community Building, and Train Station. The Contract shall be for 12 months with an option to extend for an additional 3, 12-month periods upon agreement of terms and contract extension from Granby Board of Trustees.
