Site work for a road / highway in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The improvement includes installing pavement markings, traffic control and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 673-291/315 at the following locations and other locations directed by the City Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa: Ingersoll Avenue from 42nd Street to Polk Boulevard Urbandale Avenue from 34th Street to Beaver Avenue Crosswalks and stop bars on Grand Avenue from 6th Avenue to 14th Street Crosswalks and stop bars at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Hickman Road Mid-block Continental Crosswalks at various locations in the City. Organization No-C038EG This project shall be fully completed not later than September 1, 2026, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Preletting Conference. None. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. he City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%, which represents a target that the City would like to achieve in including DBE/TSB participation on City contracts; and is not a mandatory goal for this project
