Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and fire / police facility.
Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule beginning on page P-6, Part III, Form of Proposal, of this document, for the LFD Community Paramedicine Renovation Project, Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky. Question Deadline 03/04/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Please submit all questions via electronically. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has a Certified Minority and Women Business Enterprise seventeen percent (17%) minimum goal including minimum subgoals of five percent (5%) for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and a subgoal of twelve percent (12%) for Women Business Enterprises (WBE); a three (3%) minimum goal for Certified Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and/or Certified Service- Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses; and a goal of utilizing Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), where applicable, for government contracts. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" from the OWNER and to fully complete the Project within the time as specified in the Contract. Bidder must agree also to pay $500.00 per day thereafter deadline for substantial completion and $500.00 per day thereafter deadline for final completion. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the closing date for receipt of bids. Errors and omissions will not be cause for withdrawal of bid without forfeit of bid bond. If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit is an acceptable form of bid security. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government may be served. Scope of work The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proposal, General Conditions, Special Conditions of the Contract, the Specifications, Contract Documents, and IonWave Q&A and Addenda, therefore as prepared by Johnson Early Architects for the LFD Community Paramedicine Renovation Project
