Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Grange, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Resurfacing of City of Crestwood roads within the Summerfield by the Lake subdivision and Spring Hill Trace. Aramid Fibers shall be included in all asphalt surface overlay and asphalt base courses (not wedge and level course). Aramid fibers shall be either 1) ACE fibers installed at the rate of 3.0 ounces +/- 1.0 ounces aramid fiber per 1.0 ton of asphalt, or 2) FORTA-FI fibers installed at the rate of 1.0 pound per 1.0 ton of asphalt, or 3) approved equal approved by City of Crestwood prior to bid opening. The contractor shall provide documentation comparing fiber feed to asphalt mix production. A log of the total amount of aramid fibers applied certified by fiber manufacturer/supplier shall be required daily. Fiber material shall be uniformly distributed with no clumping (visual inspection). Asphalt tonnage is estimated at 110 lbs per sq.yd per inch of depth Streets to be milled and resurfaced include Spring Hill Trace (Brentwood section) and all streets in Summerfield By The Lake subdivision.
