Renovation of an educational facility in Wales, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project scope consists of roofing replacement and repairs at the Wales Elementary School. The general scope of the construction work is as follows: Re-roofing of the existing low-sloped roofing systems utilizing a "tear-off" application. A new adhered EPDM roof membrane system (90-mil minimum thickness) is specified. The work also includes: (A) Installation of new wood blocking; (B) Install vent pipe extensions so as to maintain 18" height from finished roof surface; (C) Remove and replace existing roof drains; (D) Install new roof hatch, roof hatch safety railing & ladder up safety post (E) Remove and replace deteriorated steel decking (F) Install new ship ladder Project Number AE251268 Estimated Cost $550,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
