Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work under this contract consists of crack sealing on various streets and structure cover adjustments as outlined in the plans. The intent of the plans, specifications, and contract is to provide for completion of the work in substantial compliance with the details as shown thereon and as described herein. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and necessary supplies, and shall perform all operations required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications, and the lines, grades and cross sections provided for on the plans or by authorization. B. Special Work Proposed construction or requirements not covered by these specifications will be covered by Supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions contained in the proposal or on the plans. C. Changes in Quantities, Plans or Character of the Work The Engineer shall have the right under the contract to make increases and decreases in the quantities, delete work items, and make changes in the plans, in the character of the work, and the termini of the project, as may be necessary or desirable to insure completion of the contemplated work provided that the sum total of such changes does not change the original contract dollar amount by more than twenty-five percent. Unit bid prices in the proposal will not be revised unless the total contract value is increased or decreased by more than twenty-five percent.
