Renovation of a municipal facility in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Repair Personnel Doors in Buildings 13,15,19,45,46 (104th Civil Engineering, Westfield, MA) Project will include the repair of personnel doors in multiple buildings and replacement of panic doors, outside levers, hinges, and replacement of key cylinders if needed. Contractors with questions can submit them via email to the purchaser, Contract Specialist III Nick Haddad Nicholas.Haddad@mass.gov. Responses to questions will come in the form of an addendum, posted in the CommBuys solicitation prior to the bid closing date. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Repair Personnel Doors of building #13 (2 doors), building #15 (8 doors), building #19 (2 doors), building #45 (2 doors), and building #46 (1 door). Existing connected electronics, Advantor security system, is on the various parts of the door and will need to be re-installed/connected and tested after items are replaced The following items to be replaced on each door: 2.1.1 Items Von Duprin QEL98L-NL-03 3 US28 RHR or QEL98L-NL-03 3 US28 LHR kit, or equal, is compatible with current door and security system, for the panic bar, outside level, and escutcheon. 2.1.2 Replace Panic Bar Provide in accordance with Conventional Push Rail Exit Devices (Heavy Duty): ANSI/BHMA A156.3, Grade 1 Certified Products Directory (CPD) listed panic and fire exit hardware devices furnished in the functions specified in the Hardware Sets. Exit device latch to be stainless steel, pullman type, with deadlock feature. 2.1.3 Replace Outside Lever, compatible with panic bar. 2.1.4 Replace hinges. Provide in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.1, compatible with existing door 2.1.4.1 Hinges shall be of a continuous gear type for all doors specified for the repair, roton fire rated model 780-057 HD or equal. 2.1.5 Replace Key Cylinder (match existing) if needed. Current cylinders are in good condition and should be able to be reused. 2.1.5.1 If required, existing Cylinder is Best Locks. 2.2 Any removed/replaced part to be disposed off base by contractor. 2.3 New panic bars must be able to be used with existing base security system where required. 2.4 Contractor to schedule work previous coordination with military personnel for Weather and mission availability.
