TOOELE CITY CORPORATION (OWNER) will accept bids for the 2025 Roadway Maintenance Project consisting of approximately 1.35 million square feet of Type II Slurry Seal, 2 million square feet of Light Weight Aggregate Chip Seal, and 145,000 square feet of asphalt overlay. All Bidders must register with the City in order to be considered for Award of Bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Payment for Furnish and Install Slurry Seal Type II will be made at the contract unit bid price per square foot listed in the bidder's proposal and shall be considered complete compensation for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary, including but not limited to: mobilization, permits and all other overhead costs; notification of residences and businesses of street closure; tree trimming by a licensed arborist; locating and protecting all existing valve boxes, manholes, etc. located within the roadway; removal of all vegetation in joints and cracks; sweeping and vacuuming of the roadway together with washing where necessary; furnishing and installing Type II Slurry Seal; traffic control; testing and all other operations and materials required to complete this portion of the work as required herein and as shown on the drawings .
