2025 Roadside Mowing Program If the bid is in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) a Bid Surety in the form of a bond or certified check, cashier's check, or money order on a solvent bank in the amount of five percent (5%) ofthe total bid shall accompany each bid pursuant to Section 307.88 of the Ohio Revised Code. Official checks and Company checks are not acceptable forms of Bid Surety. A contract, iflet, will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest and best bid. If, in the opinion of the Board, the acceptance ofthe lowest bid is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Board may accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and advertise for other bids. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
