As of September 2, 2025, the owner has determined a list of pre-qualified construction manager. The City of Mount Vernon (Owner) will be requesting Statements of Qualifications from the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) organizations (Proposers) for the construction of the following Project, and for related pre-construction and procurement CMAR services: Mount Vernon WWTP Phosphorus and Solids Improvements Owner will receive printed Statements of Qualifications demonstrating the Proposer's qualifications and ability to provide CMAR services and construct the Project at the Mount Vernon Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 3 Cougar Drive Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Owner anticipates that the CMAR's Contract Price will be approximately $45 million. The CMAR Contract has an expected start date of November 2025 for Preconstruction Services and September 2026 for Construction services. Construction has an expected duration of 640 days. The meeting will be held at City Hall with an optional site walk of the wastewater treatment plant afterwards. Attendance at the Information Conference is required for companies intending to respond to the RFQ. Two-Step Process Selection of the Construction Manager will be made using a two-step process. Step One: Owner will receive Statements of Qualification and evaluate these, along with other information, to develop a list of the most highly qualified Proposers.
