No BID may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. Work To Be Done: The Work to be completed for FY26 Chemicals for Wastewater Treatment Plant is described briefly as follows: The City of Flowery Branch is seeking bids for chemicals used for Wastewater and Drinking Water Treatment for Fiscal Year 2026. The Chemicals are as follows: * ACH (Aluminum Chlorohydrate 23%) * Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%) * Caustic Soda 50% (Sodium Hydroxide) * Citric Acid * Fluoride (Hydrofluosilicic acid) * Muriatic Acid (Hydrochloric Acid) * Polymer (Bidders interested in bidding on this chemical will be required to schedule a performance evaluation.) All Drinking Water Chemicals must have NSF/ANSI/CAN 60 Certification. It is understood that the selected Contractor will guarantee pricing for a twelve (12) month period (7/1/2025 - 6/30/2026) following tabulation and notification of award. Orders will be placed on an "as needed, when needed" basis; the City of Flowery Branch does not guarantee any minimum or maximum quantities under this bid. Bidders will be required to have trucks with liftgates (box trucks with liftgates for all Drinking Water Deliveries) and deliveries must be made to our respective facilities accompanied by City staff. Unauthorized contact regarding the bid with other City of Flowery Branch employees may result in disqualification. Any oral communications will be considered unofficial and non-binding on the City of Flowery Branch. Vendors should rely only on written statements issued by the Bid correspondent. Reservation of Rights: Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
