Renovation of a mixed-use development in Blountville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Re-Bid for Replacement of Gym Floor at Mary Hughes Elementary School, Sullivan Central Middle School, and Sullivan Heights Middle School The scope of work for all three locations shall begin on May 27, 2025 and must be complete by July 31, 2025. A bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the bid is required. Certified checks should be made payable to Sullivan County Trustee. The successful bidder will be required to execute acceptable Performance & Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price Scope of Work: Mary Hughes Elementary School, 240 Austin Springs Road, Piney Flats, TN 37686 Provide all labor, materials, and services for removal, disposal and replacement of Gym floor (approximately 4,042 sq.ft.) at Mary Hughes Elementary School Install second and better or number one maple hardwood flooring 3/4 x 2 1/4" x various lengths Replacement of any damaged sub-flooring as needed (Unit Pricing for 1 X 6 ) Provide one layer of six mil polyethylene as moisture proofing; provide one layer of 1/4" closed cell foam cushioning; Plywood; Provide Felt paper layer; Provide Baseboards and thresholds Sand and refinish; machine sand with coarse, medium and find grades sandpaper to achieve a level, smooth, uniform surface; Remove sanding dust by vacuum. Apply 2 coats of sealer and 2 coats of modified oil base finish; buff and clean between each coat. Apply graphics: Volleyball Lines, Basketball Court Lines, Physical Education Lines, Lettering, and Logo Scope of Work: Sullivan Central Middle School, 131 Shipley Ferry Rd., Blountville, TN 37617 and Sullivan Heights Middle School, 1236 Moreland Drive, Kingsport, TN 37660 Provide all labor, materials, and services for removal, disposal and replacement of Gym floor (approximately 13,496 sq.ft) at Sullivan Central Middle School and (approximately 13,284 sq.ft) at Sullivan Heights Middle School. Install second and better or number one maple hardwood flooring 3/4 x 2 1/4" x various lengths Provide one layer of six mil polyethylene as moisture proofing; provide one layer of 1/4" closed cell foam cushioning; Include Plywood, Baseboards and Thresholds in pricing Sand and refinish; machine sand with coarse, medium and find grades sandpaper to achieve a level, smooth, uniform surface; Remove sanding dust by vacuum.
