Site work for a water / sewer project in Hillsboro, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Hillsboro reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. BID: Bids must include the cost of labor, materials and equipment for the exterior painting of a 500,000-gallon legged elevated tank. Specifications include pressure wash tank exterior with not less than 3,000 psi water pressure; remove all loose rust and scale with wire brushes and hand scrapers in accordance with SSPC #2; apply one (1) coat of primer to all bare metal, 4.0 to 6.0 mils., D.F.T.; apply one (1) coat of paint, 4.0 to 6.0 mils., D.F.T.; and re-letter tower per present pattern, alternate bid no. 2 or alternate bid no. 3. Breakdown on costs for any repairs that may be necessary for the painting of the tower should also be included. This project is to be completed by October 1, 2025. ALTERNATE BID No. 1: Provide price to paint water tower white. ALTERNATE BID No. 2: Provide price to paint branded Hillsboro sign (see attachment) on one side of water tower (North High Street side). ALTERNATE BID No. 3: Provide price to paint branded Hillsboro sign (see attachment) on two sides of water tower (North West Street & North High Street). All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of 10% of the bid. A Certificate of Contractors Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance must be included with bid.
