**This project is Rebid for Painting Bid Package ONLY - Corbin High School New Auxiliary Gymnasium, Site and Life Safety Improvements - 6851466** The Work consists of a new 13,853 square foot Auxiliary Gymnasium with a 1,523 square foot equipment platform. The construction is primarily steel columns, beams and joists with a 12-foot-tall brick and CMU cavity wall and the remainder ofthe exterior wall to be constructed of cold formed metal framing with sheathing, insulation and metal wall panels. The roof shall be constructed of a single-ply TPO roofing system over insulation and a steel roof deck. Roof drainage shall be gutters and downspouts tied-into a below grade storm drainage system. The building will house typical restrooms, storage room and a wood-floored gymnasium with telescoping bleachers, basketball goals, volleyball standards and scoreboards. The site work will consist of asphalt paving, concrete walks and storm drainage. The work will occur on both sides of Early Street on the high school campus. The HVAC shall be forced hot-air gas heat and air-conditioning with exterior pad-mounted compressors and condensers. Electrical shall be a 600A, 3-phase service with energy efficient LED lighting. A new integrated fire alarm system, blue-light lock-down notification system and paging system will be installed in the new auxiliary gymnasium as well as the existing High School, Area Technology building, Career Center and fieldhouse all located on the same campus. Successful bidders shall commence the Work January 2025 and shall complete the Work by January 2026. Work is subject to liquidated damages at $500.00 per calendar day. No bid shall be modified, withdrawn, or cancelled by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for receipt of bids and bidder agrees in submitting his bid.
