The CY2025 Paving of Roadways project will consist of the paving of town-owned roadways following milling to be performed by others. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including set-aside (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Windsor. Question Deadline 03/06/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Any request from prospective bidder for interpretation of meaning of contract drawings, specifications or other contract documents shall be made in writing to Engineering Assistant: Ryan Gazlay at gazlay@townofwindsorct.com or 275 Broad Street, Windsor, CT 06095. All questions must be received at least seven (7) days prior to date fixed for opening of bids in order to be considered. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond which shall be not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid, including the base bid and any and all alternates. The bid bond shall be duly executed by the bidder as principal and having a surety thereon which shall be acceptable to the town. Certified checks or bank drafts will not be accepted. The party to whom the contract is awarded will be required to execute the agreement and obtain the performance and payment bond within ten (10) calendar days from the date when notice of award is delivered to the bidder. In case of failure of the bidder to execute the agreement and submit bond forms, the town may, at its option, consider the bidder in default, in which case the bid security accompanying the proposal shall be called.
