The City of Somerville, Texas, is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified and experienced individuals or firms for the collection of residential curbside solid waste and curbside recycling collection. Proposal envelopes should include the Proposer's name and address on the outside of the envelope as well as the following notation: DO NOT OPEN - RFP NO. 2025-01 RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE AND DISPOSAL PROPOSAL. Also, paper copies are available at City Hall located at 600 Memory Lane, Somerville, Texas 77879. The CITY'S evaluations committee will review all responsive submittals and recommend the most responsible contractor whose best and fi nal offer is determined to be the most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the relative importance of price and other evaluation. Proposals must be in strict compliance with this Request for Proposal. Failure to comply with all provisions of the RFP may result in disqualifi cation. Therefore, PROPOSERS should exercise particular care in reviewing the terms and conditions set forth in the RFP. The City of Somerville reserves the right to reject any and all applications, to waive any and all technicalities, and to accept any proposal which it deems to be in its best interest. Each respondent agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Somerville, Texas, and its respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any proposal.
