Replace 1,680 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer line by open cut underneath asphalt pavement along Avenue E; replace 2,110 linear feet of 6-inch water line by open cut along Avenue E; reconstruct 4,450 square yards of existing asphalt street along Avenue E from 1st Street to 5th Street. There is also an Alternative Bid for replacement of the existing asphalt street from 5th Street to 6th Street. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Bid bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance to do business in Texas and to issue said bond. The bid bond must be signed by an authorized representative of the surety and the representative must be licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms which are attached hereto in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price within 15 days after receipt of the Contract Documents.
