Bidders accept all risks of late delivery, regardless of fault. Bids properly received will be opened and read aloud publicly in District's Administration Building. The District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. The project work is located in Snohomish County and King County, WA. The purpose of this project is to: o Install approximately 65,000 +- linear feet of cured in place sanitary sewer and storm sewer main in sizes varying from 8-inches to 1.8-inches; o Install cured in place pipe in approximately 26 sanitary sewer laterals, each up to 5-feet in length; o Install chemical grout into approximately 663 lateral connections to sewer mains, Project work also includes temporary traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, bypass pumping, site restoration, and other associated work items. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 90 days from the date of bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) ofthe Total Bid Price.
