Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Clara City, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor(s) have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581. Those, which apply to this project, are set forth in the proposal for this project: SAP 012-599-119: Replace 106"x74"x30' steel arch pipe with a single line of 10'x5' of precast concrete box culvert (new bridge 12J77) SAP 012-599-120: Replace 114"x78"x39' steel arch pipe with a single line of 10'x5' of precast concrete box culvert (new bridge 12J76) Approximate major items of work include: 214 feet of remove pipe culverts, 89 feet of 10x5 precast concrete box culvert, 4 each of 10x5 precast concrete box culvert end sections, 380 feet of CS pipe culvert, 268 tons of Class III Rip Rap, 114 tons of aggregate base class 5 modified, erosion control, revegetation, and traffic control. Plans and Proposals may be inspected at the office of the Chippewa County Highway Engineer, 902 North 17th Street, Montevideo, MN 56265. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond made payable to Chippewa County in a sum not less than 5% of the bid. See Proposal for acceptable forms of a bid bond. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to wave any informalities therein and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
