Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work to include: asphalt & concrete pavement removal, pulverizing, milling, shaping & grading; removal & replacement of concrete curb & gutter; removal & replacement of sidewalks; removal & replacement of pedestrian curb ramps; water main improvements & relay; sanitary & storm sewer improvements; structure rim adjustments; parking lot pavement replacement; & incidental construction. A formal prebid meeting to examine the site will not be held. Project is to be ready for Substantial Completion on or before October 17, 2025. Project is to be ready for Final Completion on or before October 31, 2025. A Microsoft Teams meeting will be also available for those that prefer not to attend in person. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security made payable to owner in an amount of 5% of bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a performance bond & a payment bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bid & bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid deadline. Bid security shall be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc if the bidder is awarded the work & fails to execute the agreement & furnish 100% performance & payment bonds. Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for a period not exceeding 60 days from the date of bid opening. Bids shall remain firm for that period of time. Owner reserves the right to reject any & all bids, to waive any & all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work & the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. A formal pre-bid meeting to examine the site will not be held. The site may be viewed at the contractor's convenience. A pre-bid meeting will NOT be held for this project. A single prime bid will be received for the work. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
