Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are being solicited from contractors for the following: 72 LF Sawcut pavement full depth 600 Ton 3/4" TB leveling coarse 3" average thickness 1,015 SY 3" asphalt binder 1,015 SY 2" asphalt binder and tack coat (including flumes) 600 LF 3" x 9" asphalt curb to be placed with 2nd lift of asphalt 250 Ton undercutting / widening drive 1,200 LF 1.5' wide shouldering Bids shall be accompanied by a statement of bidders' qualifications and certified check or bid bond payable to the Village of Oconomowoc Lake without condition, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid as a guarantee that if a proposal is accepted, the contract will be entered into. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance/payment bond for the full amount of the contract, and a certificate of insurance. The Village Board of the Village of Oconomowoc Lake has the right to accept or reject any or all bids with respect to irregularities or technicalities, or to reject all bids outright, and further, to award the contract to the bidder who, in the judgment of the Village Board, will best serve the interest of the Village of Oconomowoc Lake.
