To complete up to three (3) rounds of roadside mowing for 419+- miles of Miami County Highways during the year of 2025 according to specifications on file in the Miami County Engineer's Office. Contract "A" (Round 1) - 419+- Miles Contract "B" (Rounds 1 & 2) - 419+- Miles Each Contract "C" (Rounds 1, 2, & 3) - 419+- Miles Pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, the bidder shall submit a BID GUARANTY as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Board of Miami County Commissioners. The BID GUARANTY shall be in the form of either: 1. A bond in accordance with Section 153.54 (B) of the Ohio Revised Code for the full amount of the bid; or 2. A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit (Chapter 1305 Ohio Revised Code) in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The Board of Miami County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the county, award the contract with a reduction of up to 10% of the bid quantity, and to select the lowest and best bid in their judgment.
