Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Troy, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a swimming pool; and swimming pool.

The City of Troy is seeking a qualified design, architectural or engineering firm with extensive experience designing and engineering the renovation of a large municipal pool area. This work will include, but not be limited to estimates, design development, bid documents, contract documents, construction administration, project close-out and as-built drawings. The City will be heavily engaged with the selected consultant throughout all portions of these listed components to achieve the vision of the renovation improvements and maintenance projects within the allowed budget. The Troy Aquatic Park was originally built in 2005 and overall it has been determined that the facility has been well maintained. However, after 20 years in service, it is in need of several maintenance/improvement projects. This project will involve the items listed in the Troy Aquatic Park Assessment & Feasibility Study under the section listed as "Existing Pool Improvements". Below is a general outline of the scope of projects to be addressed as a result of this study. o ADA Improvements o Existing Slide Structure Improvements/Maintenance o Rope Fencing/Barrier Replacements o Miscellaneous Maintenance Improvements (doors, concrete decking, etc.) o Replace Open Air Wood Entrance with steel structure o Repair expansion and construction joints of pool shell o Repair/replace concrete pool shell and tile work o Replace perimeter gutter o Replaster/Diamondbrite pools surfaces o Replace underwater lights o Surge tank/float valve maintenance o Upgrade chemical controllers and chemical feed system o Repair and upgrades to visible pool piping systems o Replacement of remaining pool pumps, strainers that have not yet been replaced o Repair of filtration systems and replacement of filtration sand o Repair to inlets and suction outlet grates. All designs shall be in conformance with current federal, state, and local City of Troy standards.
