The contractor shall furnish all qualified labor, materials, equipment, personnel, and supplies and otherwise do all things necessary to maintain the grounds at EPA-RTP (see Map - Attachment 2), in an ecological manner which enhances the appearance and cleanliness of the site, promotes the sustainability of the managed landscape, and minimizes negative impacts to the environment. Work under this contract shall include but is not necessarily limited to mowing; trimming; edging; fertilizing; soil pH adjustment; seeding; aerating; recycling/composting of yard waste; mulching; outdoor pest control; watering; tree and shrub pruning and trimming; weeding; planting and establishment of new plants; invasive plant identification, management, and control; erosion control; and policing of grounds. In addition, the contractor shall maintain: wet detention ponds; bioretention areas (rain gardens); site storm drainage system; wetland pond; utility easements; flower beds; pollinator habitat gardens; and wildflower meadows. Questions resulting from the site visit must be submitted through Website by 4 PM (EDT) by Friday, May 19, 2025. Period of Performance: Offerors shall ensure that proposals cover the order's entire five (5) year period of performance (if all options are exercised) in order to be eligible for award.
