PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project includes work at two well locations. All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit inthe form of a postal money order, cashiers check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total amount ofthe bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time statedin the specifications, the deposit shall be forfeited to the City. All bidders shall call 509-754-4601 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, whether or not they request a hard copy or obtain a digital copy of the Specifications. Bids received from bidders who are not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive. The first site consists of drilling a new 20-inch diameter municipal well (Well #11) into the Wanapum Basalt Formation, developing, and pump testing the well. The second site consists of deepening an existing 450-foot well (Well #5) approximately 250 feet. Estimated Project Cost:$1,000,000 The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City.
