Any questions should be directed to Brian Reed, Public Works Director. The general scope of services includes the load, hauling, and disposal of solid waste from the transfer station located at 231 Transfer Station Rd, Smithville, Tennessee. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be emailed to the list of proposers in the form of an addendum. Proposers shall acknowledge all addenda issued for this request in proposal documents. Proposals shall be submitted and clearly marked as follows: “SEALED PROPOSAL FOR SOLID WASTE LOAD, TRANSPORT, AND DISPOSAL SERVICES - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL." All responsive proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the DeKalb County Commission in order to determine which proposer best meets the DCSW's needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the DCSW shall evaluate proposals are set forth in the Request for Proposals.
