Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Trail, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The City of Trail is seeking tender responses from qualified and experienced General Contractors speaking on their capabilities, experience, record of accomplishments, and resources to enhance the building's heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. Key improvements include the replacement of 12 existing rooftop units, the installation of a new heat recovery system, and upgrades to the boiler and ammonia plants. A new heat pump will utilize waste heat from the ammonia plant to support heating needs, including domestic hot water, hydronic loops, and the new rooftop heating system. Additionally, a heat recovery ventilator will be added to serve the third floor. These updates aim to improve energy efficiency, support long-term facility goals, and ensure optimal performance of the Centre's heating systems.
