Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McFarland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Paving and utility work consisting of these units: 4,330 lineal feet new 8-inch ductile iron water main, 80 water service laterals, 100 lineal feet new 4-inch storm sewer lateral, 16,200 square yards pulverizing and grading of existing asphalt surface, 1,500 tons 1.5-inch surface course asphalt paving, 1,800 tons 1.75-inch binder course asphalt paving, and 2,000 lineal feet 30-inch concrete curb and gutter. The quantities and the main sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of McFarland within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. Portions of this project are funded through a Local Road Improvements (LRIP) grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The Village of McFarland reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
