Site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Red Bluff, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project Summary: Provide and furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and additional professional engineering if necessary for site work and utilities including rough grading, removal of stock piled dirt, installation of asphalt driveway and parking lot, installation of a 10,000sqft concrete slab for a future metal building, and extension of utility lines. This project will be used for school district corporation yard and maintenance activities. This project will be permitted by The City of Red Bluff and inspected by an Inspector of Record (IOR) hired by the district. This project will be located on the Red Bluff Union Elementary School District property, 1050 Dumosa Drive, Red Bluff Ca. Such bids shall be received at the District office at 1755 Airport Blvd, Red Bluff, Ca. 96080 no later than March 12, 2025 at 2:30PM and will be opened at that time. Red Bluff Union Elementary School District requests that bidders consider not attending the bid opening in person, and that bids be submitted by dropping then off at the district office, by mail or electronic format. Bid review will not take place at the opening - instead, bid results will be sent to all bidders electronically. Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the instructions to bidders, the General Conditions, Contract, Specifications, Plans, and all other documents comprising the Contract Documents. A California Class A (General Engineering Contractor) or Class B (General Building Contractor) license is required to be held by the Contractor. The contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The Bid forms will be structured to allow for alternate bids. Bids will be accepted for both sitework and buildings, buildings only or sitework only. The building package must be substantially similar as shown in the plans and specifications, with DSA approvals. All bids will require a schedule and timeline for completion, per the schedule shown in the plans and specifications. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Pursuant to Section 1700, et seq., of the California Labor Code, the Contractor shall pay no less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations. Pursuant to Section 22300 of the California Public Contract Code, the Contractor may elect to receive 100% of payments due under the contract from time to time, without retention of any portion of the payment by the Owner to ensure Contractor's performance under the Contract, by depositing securities with the Owner. Alternatively, Contractor may request that the Owner make payment of any retained monies earned directly to an escrow agent at the expense of Contractor. The Provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 22300 are incorporated herein by reference as though set forth in full and shall govern the substitution of securities and/or an escrow account. All work on site would have to meet prevailing wage requirements. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids (for buildings and sitework, buildings only, Sitework only or neither), to waive any irregularities in the Bids or Bidding, and to be the sole judge as to the merit, quality, and acceptability of labor, materials and schedule proposed and their compliance with the plans, specifications DSA approvals and delivery schedule needs of Owner.
