Renovation of a municipal facility in Red Bluff, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Request for Bids The City of Red Bluff solicits qualified contractors to submit bids for the proposed reroof project for the City of Red Bluff City Hall, located at 555 Washington Street. Reroofing shall include tear off of existing roofing system to the structural deck including the removal and replacement of existing rooftop equipment and appurtenances as needed. Bidding Contractor must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relation (DIR) and pursuant to California SB 854, the Contractor and Subcontractors must submit certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner. Pursuant to Section 1770 et. seq., California Labor Code, the successful bidder shall pay not less that the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the DIR. The City is proposing a reroof project for the City of Red Bluff City Hall, located at 555 Washington Street. Reroofing shall include tear off of existing roofing system to the structural deck including the removal and replacement of existing rooftop equipment and appurtenances as needed. Note: testing confirmed the presence of asbestos containing roofing materials. Asbestos abatement shall be conducted to minimum standards provided in attached Asbestos Abatement Plan. A Building Permit shall be obtained by the Contractor prior to the start of work.
