Base Bid Scope of Work: Contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and services necessary to remove existing flooring/cove base and install new carpet tiles and cove base in 179 resident rooms noted on drawings. Add-Alternate # 1: Additional cost to remove existing flooring/cove base in 32 additional resident rooms, install LVT in lieu of carpet tiles in all 211 resident rooms, and install cove base in 32 additional rooms as noted in drawings. Add-Alternate # 2: Additional cost to remove existing flooring/cove base in basement landings and hallways. Install LVT, carpet tiles and cove base as noted in drawings AD1.6 & A3.6. For the purposes of this procurement, the sum total of funds available for award is: $320,000.00 Additional Scope Information: Please note, there will be multiple projects going on at the same time in Newsom Hall (including but not limited to: South resident wings abatement/roof replacement, South/North resident room and hallways lighting replacement, resident room door painting, drinking fountains replacement. The resident wings will not be occupied during this timeframe but there will need to be coordination and scheduling with these other projects. Access to the South resident wings will be at the end stair towers (fire towers) on East and West end of the resident wing Access to the North resident wing will be from the center section while the roof work is taking place.
