The Work: The scope of this project is to remove and replace the existing EPDM roof on the south portion of the Downtown Transit Center building. The existing roof is reaching the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. The goals of this project are to provide a new water-tight roof, re-use existing roofing insulation, add new insulation to meet current building codes, and raise existing curbs and hatches for the height of the new roof. A traffic control plan shall be provided for shutting down the east alley whenever crane services are required. This scope of work does not include any work to the TPO roof on the adjacent north roof.
