Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Johnson, Vermont. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,500-square-foot parking garage; for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The scope of this project includes demolition and reconstruction of an approximately 4,500 square foot maintenance garage/storage facility, owned by the Village of Johnson. The entire building except the concrete foundation and slab will be demolished. The foundation will be reinforced to meet current building code requirements, and a new pre-engineered metal building will be installed. The new garage will consist of two garage bays, a vehicle wash area, one ladder accessed storage mezzanine, one stair accessed storage mezzanine with office, a bathroom, break room with kitchenette, and various workshop and mechanical spaces. The project will repair as needed to make use of existing power and water utilities, as well as existing driveways and other site features. Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit as follows: Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount using RD Instruction 1942-A, Guide 19 - Attachment 4 - Bid Bond Form. The security deposit will be returned after delivery to the Owner of the required Performance and Payment Bond(s) by the accepted bidder. Include the cost of bid security in the Bid Amount.
