Renovation of a civil project in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held in accordance with Article 6 of the Instructions to Bidders. Engineer's estimated probable construction costs for the Work is $3,236,000. Bids will be received only from companies that are pre-qualified by the District's Engineering Department for: Building Construction and/or Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Pre-Bid Meeting Call In Number: 636-206-6466 Conference ID: 656 488 989# This project also includes the replacement of the VFD ductwork systems that are configured to exhaust the heat generated from the drives to the building exterior when outdoor ambient temperature is above the temperature set-point (warm weathered months). When the temperature set-point is not met (cold weathered months), heat generated from the drives is recirculated within the building. A general description of the Work is replacement of three variable frequency drives (VFDs) and the associated 4160V conductors from the MCLU's to the VFDs and motors in the Influent Pump Station at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). The VFDs are air cooled and rated 1,750 horsepower (hp) and 4,160 volt and are located on the grade level of the building. Existing 480V auxiliary power feeds and control wires will be re-used.
