Scope of Work: This project will occur in the Early Childhood Education and Elementary School Playgrounds. The scope will include demolishing two existing playgrounds and installing three fabric shade structures, new playground equipment, pour-in-place rubber playground surfaces, fencing, and various drainage improvements. States estimated cost: $718,700.00. The term of this project is 180 calendar days. The States Project Director is Irene Hernandez at 279-799-4035. Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. All bids shall be accompanied by the following forms of bidder's security: Bidder's Bond, cashier's check, certified check or cash. Bidder's Bond shall be executed by an admitted surety insurer, authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California. Bond and checks shall be made payable to the director of the Department of General Services. The security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount bid.
