Estimate of 14,500 square yards of Slurry seal Treatment, furnished and installed at various locations throughout the borough as directed by authorized Borough Personnel. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. made payable to the Shinglehouse Borough. The Shinglehouse Borough reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. SCOPE: It is the intent of the Borough of Shinglehouse to establish a contract for Slurry Seal Treatment, furnish and install at various locations throughout the borough as directed by authorized Borough personnel. The Slurry Seal shall consist of a mixture of emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate and water: Properly proportioned, mixed and spread evenly on the surface as specified. The cured slurry shall have a homogenous appearance, adhere to the surface and have a skid resistance texture.
