As of May 22, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Larned-Pawnee County Airport; Lighting, PAPIs, REILs, Beacon, Windcone The Construction shall begin in the summer or fall of 2025, if an FAA grant is issued by July 1, 2025. If the FAA grant is delayed, a 2026 start will be acceptable, at the contractors option. The date of the Notice to Proceed shall take into consideration material delivery schedules and the contractor's other commitments, while meeting the Owner's needs and ensuring that the project is completed by October 31, 2025 (2025 start) or August 30, 2026 (2026 start). No prebid meeting. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Chris Corr, P.E., 402.458-5056. Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for: Airfield Lighting Including PAPIs, REILs, Beacon, Windcone, and Lighting Control System. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Unclassified Excavation (Established Quantity) (251 CY); 5 kV L-824 Cable (12,540 LF), Counterpoise (10,168 LF), Conduit (10,878 LF); 7.5 kW Regulator (1 LS), Vault Work; Runway And Taxiway Lights (73 EA), L-881(L) PAPIs (2 LS), L-849I(L) REILs (2 LS); Windcone, Seeding This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 3.92% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53.
