Larned State Correctional Facility (LSCF) is seeking bids for a roof repair or replacement of their South Unit. There will be an optional pre-bid meeting to become familiar with the facility and location prior to submitting a proposal. The vendor shall not be relieved from assuming all responsibility for properly estimating the difficulties and the cost of performing the services required with this specification, because of failure to investigate the conditions or familiarity with information concerning the services to be performed. Vendors are required to develop and submit a detailed list of equipment in order to accurately estimate the resources required to properly replace the South Unit roofs. The list should include Labor, equipment, safety and material for the following scope of work: o Adhered TPO Roof System Approximately 6,000 square feet. o Remove existing coping and through wall scuppers. o Remove existing flashings and cut field membrane. o Mechanically fasten new .5" HD coverboard. o Adhere a minimum of .60 mil TPO roofing membrane to new coverboard. o Flash all penetrations and vertical surfaces as per manufacturers specifications. o Fabricate and install new Rm Custom Metals perimeter coping, edge metal, guttering, and downspouts. o Clean jobsite of work-related items and dispose of all associated debris.
